It's not a cold, as my body has no aches or fevers (though I've never had a real fever in my life). It shouldn't be allergies, as I don't have those either (except poison ivy). The last few days here in NYC have been (for summer) cold and rainy, around 70 degrees and dark and wet. This has been a painful reminder to me of what is to come. Yesterday was a bad day that ended on an odd note. I was restless and anxious the whole day, which I understand. The barber ... CUT OFF MY BEARD!

I asked for the lightest of all possible trims - and with one swipe he trimmed it to razor stubble!

WTF is wrong with barbers and their beard hatred?

I did NOT want to look like some punk from a vampire movie!
